Beanplanet wins FT contract

Beanplanet won a major contract today to supply a feeds and search solution to the Financial Times, FT.com. Owing to the commercial sensitivity of the solution no further technical information can be given until the solution is delivered over a number of phases in 2011.
The contract is a master contract to supply ongoing software and services to the FT; the initial Statement of Work being the architectural review, design and implementation of content and metadata feeds and a search solution. As stated previously, Beanplanet will partner with Mongoose IT to supply the search part of the final solution. Mongoose IT are industry leaders in search and search-related technologies.
The project will be managed and developed using the agile methodology.
